Homemade Sprinkles: Make them in your favorite color/ flavor Recipe
Sprinkles made easy at HOME
Imagine those colorful sprinkle topped cupcakes,popsicles and cakes!! Ever thought that making them would be so easy?With simple ingredients available at your pantry and a icing cone your job is done.Mix your favorite color and flavor ..Omg!! It would be WOW and you will give yourself a pat for that..You needn't bake or cook.Just wait 12 hours..You just need patience as a fuel. Let do this together..
Ingredients (1 cup= 250 ml)
Powdered sugar - 1.5 cup
Egg white - 1 tsp (powdered) / 2 tsp (fresh) (or) corn starch - 2 tsp
Flavor - Any favorite extract or essence (vanilla,almond,peppermint or anything)
Warm water - 1 cup
Food color-Optional (I used orange)
Salt-1 pinch
The Formula
- Arrange a wax or a parchment paper to make sprinkles.
- Take egg white and 1 tbsp warm water in a bowl.Whisk it well until it foams and add a pinch of salt.Continue whisking for a minute.
- Now mix the powdered sugar with egg mixture and fold till the ingredients are well combined.
- Divide the portions and color them each separately. Mix the portions so that they attain a common color separately.(I reserved some white) .You can even make rainbow sprinkles.(make them with rainbow colors)

- Take a frosting cone (#2) and fill the parchment paper with the mix.Draw lines (no need to be straight ) on the parchment paper made ready and leave it to dry for 12 hours or overnight.
- After 12 hours,cut them to required lengths and store them in an airtight container.
Sprinkle them on your favorite cakes and popsicles.Enjoy!
